AMERA WASHINGTON ! life is different every day, you can't expect it to change your way ----------------------------------------------
today feels like a simple day, meara sat up from her comfortable bed and stared down at her blue and purple flowered bed covers. she had these back when she was only six. she didn't see anything wrong with it, it was still cute. she loved her blue, purple, and green room. it was kiddish that was for sure, but it was so meara. she loves to kid around and actually be a kid unlike most people. she never really gave up her childhood. even if she was sixteen she didn't care. kids her age shouldn't be caring the baggage that they carry these days. no one should be sad. look at meara she lost her mother, granted she didn't know her, but still, she was hurting, but why let it get her down. she wasn't like that nothing, well almost nothing, can get her down. she's too strong for that. meara just needs to take time for herself when she feels sad, and think about something that makes her happy, and well then she is off just being herself again. seems easy, right? well it could be, but most people can't bring themselves to these happy places that the needed to be.
meara pushed back some hair that fell in her face. meara loved her hair and all, obviously, it looked just like her mothers, so she really couldn't complain about looking like her mother. but when it got in her way was when it got annoying. but she didn't much care. ty seemed to like it a lot. so sometimes meara just ignored it, secretly wishing he would move it out of her face for her. yea cliche she knows, but it was cute. even though her life was nothing like a romance novel. it was cute, if he'd ever do it. usually she would have to move it out of her face and he wouldn't even notice, but it didn't matter...much. but it didn't matter, it was time to get ready for their date. I hope he remembers....he better. meara thought as she leaped off her bed and walked over to the dresser. she had to look cute, and all that jazz for ty, but she couldn't look too sexy. she doesn't want him to get the wrong impression. but, she couldn't disappoint him. she frantically looked threw her dresser. it had to be perfect.
meara help up her perfect outfit. she smiled and checked it out. she then held the white and black dress. it was beautiful and old, but she'd never worn it, that she could remember, so it was fine. even though meara wasn't much of a girlie girl, not to the slandered people put them to, she couldn't help but giggle at how awesome she knew she was going to look. meara twirled in the dress and then headed to the bathroom for a shower. she stripped down and jumped in the shower. the warm water felt amazing against her skin. she looked up with her eyes closed. she held her arms across her chest, catching the water in her hands. she turned her head down to the ground, getting all of her hair wet and began washing her body. once she was done with her hour long shower she jumped out and grabbed the towel from the linen closet. the polka dotted towel covered her small body perfectly.
meara opened the bathroom door and walked into her room. the air felt cold against her wet skin. she never turned her fan off before getting into the shower. she always forgot. but it didn't matter, she did dry faster. she combined her body with the towel, down her arms, down her legs, and her torso. once meara was completly dry she grabbed her black and white dress. she grabbed all of the necessary things and put them on first before slipping the medium sized dress on. she walked over to her bedroom closet and grabbed her white heels. she wasn't to fond on heels, but she did think it would look better with her dress than a pair of converse. even though that sounded a lot more comfortable. she slipped them on over her feet and some accessories. she had all of her extra things on in a matter of minutes and walked down stairs. she still had to curl her hair. when meara was completely done it was almost eight. she had a half hour before she had to be over at the movie theater. she had planned this date with ty a few days ago. they had planned on seeing a comedy, which sounded like the best idea to meara. as she scurried out of the house she grabbed her teal and white jacket. she walked out to her curb, and stood there waiting for tyler.

Tyler snatched his keys off the kitchen counter, walking out to his car casually. He was about to make his way over to Meara’s house, picking her up for their date to the movies. He brushed his hand through his hair, it stood up a little messy, but in a nice way. He wasn’t exactly positive on what they would see, he figured he’d let her pick as long as it was a comedy or horror movie. Those were mainly the only genre he would actually watch, and he thought Meara was in the mood for a comedy anyway. That was one thing he really liked about his girlfriend, she didn’t force him to sit and watch some sappy movie like the notebook with her.
He opened his car door, hopping inside and starting it. He turned on his radio, turning it up nice and loud before pulling out of his drive way. Tyler always drove a little fast, but he had never been in a car accident, well since he got his license a couple months ago. In his opinion that was good, so he wasn’t afraid to drive fast and blast his stereo.
He made it to her place in ten minutes, pulling up against the curb and unlocking the doors so she could climb in. He reached his hand out to turn down the radio, looking over through the passenger mirror at her, she looked real nice tonight. Normally she dressed more simply, but he didn’t mind seeing her in the dress and heels. She always looked good, she just looked extra nice when she dressed up.
When she climbed into his car he smiled, leaning over and brushing a soft kiss across her lips. ”Hey, you look beautiful,” he said, giving her a grin before leaning back in his seat and putting the car into drive.
